Ethics Research Project Application

ANZCCP is now an approved Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC), please review our Terms of Reference and Procedures.
As we are now a HREC we can accept applications for ethics approval of a research project.
Applications for ethics approval of a research project are now open.
The Chief Investigator is responsible for the research project and for ensuring that all aspects of the research undertaken comply with the NHMRC’s National Statement on the Ethical Conduct in Research Involving Humans and the Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research.
Once the Ethics Application is formally approved, the research project is approved for a period of 3 years. The Chief Investigator is required to submit an annual report on the research project status and at the conclusion of the research project a final report is to be submitted.
Our application fees are as follows.
Applications for commercially funded research projects – $2000
Applications for non-commercially funded research projects conducted by not-for-profit organisations and private education institutions – $300

This fee must be paid on submitting your application below. Your application will not be assessed prior to completion of all requirements. You will need to download the HREC Research Application Form and the HREC Application Checklist and complete these prior to submitting the application form below.
